What is Individual Development Flag Configuration Setting?

What is IDP?

The Individual Development Plan (IDP) feature is a powerful tool for talent development within organizations. By offering direct insights into employee growth potential, organizations can leverage IDPs to foster development effectively. This cost-effective method is particularly valuable for conducting soft skills gap analysis. With the use of a validated 30-60-90-day IDP, employees can transform their areas of improvement into strengths. Also, future enhancements to the report format will enable clients to view the IDP in a grid format, allowing access without downloading a PDF report.

Setting up IDP for customer account

iMocha provides enhanced value for upskilling customers by offering robust tools for talent development, particularly in soft skills. With a growing number of clients focusing on skills, iMocha has seen increased usage of its products and a higher number of attempts in soft skills question banks.

iMocha provides a detailed analysis of the score and insights into the scores. It presents an Individual Development Plan based on the insights.

Configuring the IDP in customer account

The IDP section in the assessment report is visible if the IDP feature is enabled for the customer account. It remains hidden if the IDP feature is disabled for the customer account.

Note: Only system admin can enable or disable the IDP flag.

The admin can access the configuration settings for the IDP feature within the iMocha Payment Portal.

The Individual Development Plan in reports (IDP) can be seen or hidden in the assessment report based on the configuration setting for a particular customer.

When generating an assessment report, the system verifies the IDP configuration setting and displays or hides the IDP section based on that setting.

When IDP flag is enabled or turned on:

All users within the account should be able to access and configure the IDP settings at the test level. This allows them to tailor the Individual Development Plan for each assessment, ensuring that the feature is utilized effectively for talent development.

The report generates different proficiency level based on the score.

iMocha employs a five-tiered system to calculate and categorize results, with each level representing a specific proficiency. The criteria for these skill levels and their definitions are standardized, ensuring consistency across all customers.

If a candidate falls under the bracket of:

  • 0-20 -> Novice

  • 20-40-> Basic

  • 40-60-> Proficient

  • 60-80-> Advance

  • 80-100-> Expert

For example, if a candidate scores 28.57 in Relationship Building, he/she falls under the Basic category.

In-depth analysis provides a definition of both skill and proficiency level.

Based on the analysis, an IDP is created that outlines both strengths and areas for improvement.

The IDP also features a working plan designed to achieve better results, offering a 30, 60, or 90-day roadmap for skill improvement.

The IDP offers a comprehensive analysis of each section, encompassing scores, proficiency levels, improvement plans, question difficulty, and proctoring analysis. This detailed breakdown aids in generating a consolidated report that can be utilized to enhance the candidate's performance and development.

When IDP flag is disabled or turned off:

When the IDP flag is off, the section containing detailed analysis, such as scores, proficiency levels, improvement plans, strengths and areas for improvement, question difficulty, and proctoring analysis, will be completely hidden from the customer. This means that no information related to these aspects will be accessible or displayed in the assessment report.

Note: The Disclaimer section is the only part visible to the customer, regardless of the IDP flag configuration.
